If you have lost compression you need to find out why? It can be sticking piston rings, or sticking / badly adjusted valves.

Can you hear the fuel pump? If not then it will need to be replaced also check the fuel filter they will clog up some times. The other thing is check the fuses for the injection system. and you can also unplug the injectors and test for power at the injectioner.

Anyone who has this noise now, id put my money on the drive belt being slightly too loose, you'll notice the squeak more in the winter than summer, as in the summer the pulleys expand due to heat. you can tighten the belt of its annoying, but come summer you may find your drive belt is overly tight.

Try disconnecting the battery for a couple of hours to reset everything. If that doesn't work it is still under warranty..
