SOURCE: fuel petcock
The petcock is what the fuel flows through when it comes out of the gas tank. It probably includes: * A switch with positions for On, Off and Reserve. * A fuel line going to the carburetors. * A vacuum hose attachment which attaches to a carburetor which tugs on a rubber diaphram to let gas flow through. * An overflow/drip valve from the vacuum area. It's located right under the tank on the rear/left side.

There is a direct short in the bar switch or in the head lamp bucket check the wiring

I had an 07, I had to remove the lower and side fairings and then the bolts are visible, dont just lift it up because wires and the fuel line will be connected and tight. When you lift it, lift easily so you dont just rip everything, you should be able to lift it high enough to disconect the wires without damage.

Sounds like a good tune up is needed. Also check the fuel system to be sure everything is clean and operating properly.
SOURCE: chain length
Hi,
You will need a 112 link chain that includes the master link.
Part #s for your chain are: DID525HV-112YB,
and RK525ROZ1-112LJFZ.
The above listed part #'s are from the service manual for your bike.
If you are buying an aftermarket chain, these numbers should be useful when ordering.
You will also need to purchase a Chain tool set for removing and replacing the old master link. Don't reuse any of the old parts on the new chain. Be sure to install the master from the inside of the chain.
I hope this helps
