Hi a scooter in good condition will reset turning key off & on :::::::: you're problem is possibly a faulty speed potentiometer. On the throttle.Cheers
More than likely it has a bad battery or cell in the battery even though it shows a full charge. Once under a load the power drops below 17 volts which shuts the unit down momentarily. Then when it powers back above 17 volts because you have the throttle partially depressed it trips the code 6. Have the batteries load tested and you will see one is bad.
Solution: new batteries
Sounds like the throttle is connected backwards. The parking brake maybe hanging up. if the scooter is run for 10 mins forward, then carefully check with your hand that the parking brake is warm and not hot. Hot indicates brake slowing you down and making the motor work too hard. For other answers to Scooter Problems goto my free app. Scooter Doctor App

Hi all ,you need to do is make sure the throttle lever cross head is dead centre, got a meter ? then disconnected the throttle pot connector and measure one outside pin to centre pin , it should measure around 2.5k ( resistance)
first of all take a look at the microswitch connected to the brake, these can fail, check the connections from the axle to the frame they are a great source of problems...
