Here is the Supplementary Service Manual and Wiring Diagram with all the colour codes. You will probably need to take it to a Yamaha main dealership. It has an immobiliser which is a whole lot of trouble needing a scan tool computer.

Was it connected before? Many manufacturers add plugs which aren't used on a particular model but are used on others. If it was in use, It would be in reach of the part you are holding. They are often taped into the harness tightly.
