Sprocket replacement
pull the front case cover off that is over the sproket, then you will remove the large bolt that retains the sprocket to the output shaft of the trans, this will require a 1/2" drive air impact gun (like tire shops use to remove wheel lugs), u will also need a good quaility gear puller to get the gear off as it is a press fit.

normaly timing chains last for aprox 30,000 miles. it is possible that the cam chain tensioners are sticking. you would also be better off giving the bike some serious throttle at times as this stops the adjusters from sticking, my advice would be to take it out for a ride and giving it some redline action for a while then listen for the noise if its any better or worse,if worse replace camchain and tensioners together...hope this helps

Bike dropped on left side

Put the air filter back on the carbs! You might think that because of the freedom, it's breathing better, but the truth is that you actually manage to evaporate the little amounts of gas going into the chamber so the mixture is so poor you can't get ignition.
