Not one answer is for the Yamaha Vity 125cc. Why give instructions for a completely different bike, please dont listen to the previous answers. I own a vity and this is not how to change coolant etc....what they are talking about is a Motorcyle of a completely different model.

if your replacing clock then put the cable end on a drill and put your milage off your old clock on it , take a while !

This is the answer as per the owners manual. Place the scooter on the centre stand.Insert the key into the main switch, and then turn it anticlockwise to the first OPEN position. If the main switch is in the LOCK position, turn the key anticlockwise to the second OPEN position. Do not push inward when turning the key from OFF to OPEN or from LOCK to OPEN. Lift the seat up from the back end. As this system is electronic, obviously you have to have the battery connected and charged up, otherwise you cannot open it without specialised knowledge. This is a highly ill - eagle act to do. In the old days we would put an electric drill on the drive cable, but now they make them tamper proof so they only go one way. The bezels are crimped on so you can't get inside them. I expect modern one may be electronic. How will your insurance company know what mileage you have done? I have never known an insurance cancel or fine due to mileage. You should have just disconnected it when you got close to the limit. Buy a used one and use them for 6 months in turns.
