We recently replaced the line going to the rear brakes. But I don't know how to bleed the brakes. I have pumped them several times but I still don't get a lot of pressure. I've heard the term bleeder valves. Not sure where that is. Please help
If you look on the inside of the wheel you will see what looks like greese fittings you need to have somebody pump and hold the brakies and then you need to slowly crack it open by unscrewing it untill you get air then wait till it stops t5hen tighten it and pump the brakes again and do this again dont let the brake fluid run out of the resivore ok pretty soon you will feel the brake pedle start to get hard then do this a couple of more times and then you will be done ok best regardss mike
the bleeder valves are the small greese fittings get a small wrench that will fit on it and try to loosen it just a bit you will start hearing the air then see fluid come out stop here and repete the [process pump hte brakes and bleed them again ok keep me posted ok best regards mike

The "greese" fittings are there but they are covered with a rubber cap. Is this the same thing you are talking about. I doesn't have any thing to unscrew.
I have bled each of the brakes but didn't notice any air coming out. As we were doing this I noticed as I pumped the brakes they got harder. But then when I took it for a test drive and they do work but it seems that they are going down as far as the clutch. Does anyone know of anything else I could try. I was bleeding them with the engine running and with the engine off. It seemed to work better when it was running.
Thanks for any info
