I HAVE REPLACED TRANSMISSION FLUID - FILTER - MOST ALL SENSORS - AND still sometimes it shifts from 4th into second gear and stays there. 93 town & country van. Not sure I replaced the shift solenoid.

If you were to take the solenoid pack apart you would find a bad connection on that solenoid. You sill need a new pack installed.

Check a factory splice in the main transmission wiring harness Location front of tranny @1. Red wire from solenoid pack and 2. red wire from TCM/EATX and 3. Wire from the EATX relay locate and check for clean . and check the ground strap to the transmission clean connections or replace Trans shift solenoid. Make sure you have the correct serial number for the transmission.3.0 has two different ones.

My car goes in first and second gear, but then will not shift into third or fourth gear. What could be wrong with it?

It could be a bad solenoid, or stuck valve(Most likely). Worst case is a transmission rebuild.

Vehicle not shifting

Have you retrained the gear? From memory think goes motor running foot firmly on brake park to neutral three times, neutral to reserve three times, neutral to drive three times, keep going thru all gears Then drive car normal for ten minutes minium as you usually would.

Here is what the service manual says about the EPC solenoid, the processor looks at allot of different inputs to command the solenoids, such as Throttle Position Sensor, Vehicle Speed Sensors, Transmission Range Sensor and RPM signal, The PCM controls the shift patterns for the transmission. Electronic Pressure Control (EPC) Solenoid
The electronic pressure control (EPC) solenoid is located on the main control valve body and is controlled by the PCM. The EPC controls line pressure used to apply and release clutches and bands in the transmission.
The 2-3 shift solenoid is located on the main control valve body and is switched on and off by electrical signals from the PCM. The 2-3 shift solenoid activates the 2-3 shift valve which controls the automatic shifting between second and third gear. Second gear is established when the 2-3 shift solenoid is switched on. The 2-3 shift solenoid is switched off when vehicle speed increases and requires a second to third gear upshift.
The 3-4 shift solenoid is located on the main control valve body and is switched on and off by electrical signals from the PCM. The 3-4 shift solenoid activates the 3-4 shift valve which controls the automatic shifting between third and fourth gear. Third gear is established when the 3-4 solenoid is switched off. The 3-4 shift solenoid is switched on when vehicle speed increases and requires a third to fourth gear upshift.

I have a 92 Chevy 3500 6.5 auto trans shifts & pulls great for about 25-30 miles then like it goes into neutral & after cools down goes again.

You need to troubleshoot the transmission solenoid shifts. You are a OBD1. Feedback on the transmission. So in your case there will be no data to be read. This is not uncommon for the shift solenoid B to supply little oil When this happens Solenoid A does not shif to fourth. You basically have a shift solenoid that cannot hold pressure. A good remedy is change transmission filter and fluid. This can help.Other than that solenoid will be needed.

There are a few solinoid packs that could be faulty, your best move would be get it to a trans shop to be tested and repaired correctly. further driving will only do more damage.
