On a 2000 E46 if you change the tire size to slightly different then factory the car will go in LIMP mode and not exceed 25.

I bought a 2003 330xi and have this code but I also see 225/50/17 size tires and this model calls for 205/50/17. There are many alternates and this initial size from previous owner is not one of them.

Changing the tire size and pressure , alignment and balancing can cause issues that lead to this code ,

I've also seen grounds and electrical connection issues cause this RAM error.

Its not dead until you want it to be. Don't jump to ECM conclusions unless your jump starting constantly with the generating car running.

Then u maybe popped ur ECM capacitors

It shows that your vehicles RAM is getting error message. its better to change ur ECU assembly rather than repairing the CPU assembly in your car. Thanks

Hello! a P0604 is telling you that one of the control modules, the Integrated Chassis Management (ICM) module has an internal Random Access Memory (RAM) error....Take it to an authorized BMW dealer and have a diagnostic run on the module...May only need to be "flashed" (software re-load)...

It's an internal control module random access memory error code. It has likely been triggered bacause your ECM has detected a memory fault or error. Check the fuse for the ECM to make sure that it hasn't blown. Also you may want to check the wire harness to ensure that its fully depressed into position on the ECM. Other than that you're probably looking at dealer service.

SOURCE: 2003 kia spectra check engine code p0604

I have bad news for you
p0604 is a transmission control module

check the connection at the transmission control module if there are no connection issues than you will need to replace the transmission controll module "tcm" there is no other test for that code.

good luck

Code P0604 and P0444 came on in my wife's bmw 530i

P0444, Evaporative Emission System Purge Control Valve Circuit Open". I believe this (small) valve is located underneath the intake manifold behind the oil filter housing. Since there are other codes that indicate leaks in the evap system, you might have to replace the PCV, P0604 could be the coolant level, or a stuck thermostat, top up the coolant, or replace thermostat would be advisable.
hope tis helps

P0604

Hi there:

P0604 - GM
Type: Powertrain Computer and Auxiliary Outputs - ISO/SAE Controlled
Description: Control Module Random Access Memory Fault Conditions
Cause: Key on for at least 5 seconds, system voltage over 10v, then the PCM detected that the internal data test (RAM) failed • Refer to code repair chart for instructions on how to replace a PCM and how to reprogram the replacement

This code is a fairly simple one. It basically means that the PCM/ECM (powertrain/engine control module) has detected an internal integrity fault in the PCM.

Hope this helps.
