I have a bmw 316 ti compact 02, but is not sparking, and fuel rail sounds like its not working, have just put on a new recond head,its all timed up engine cranks over good,just does not start,is there a engine reset button?

sounds like the immobilisor _

in the interim check the fuel pump or fuel relay and see if there is fuel coming the injector rail or fuel rail

check TDI crank sensor. It might be missing pulses due to some faulty plug or connection.

you need open the fuel tank and change the sender unit.

You need a new key switch.

You need to have the Bluetooth code (a four digit number that should be with your vehicle documents)
- Turn Bluetooth at your phone.
- With the car ignition key at Position 0 (Off), pressand hold the phone key on your steering wheel.
- Whilst still holding the phone key down, turn the ignition key to position 1.
- release the phone key after about 3 seconds.
- The car display should then show "BLUETOOTH PAIRING" or similar.
- Search for new bluetooth devices with your phone.
- When the BMW unit is detected, select and enter the 4 digit PIN.
- Your phone should now work via the cars Bluetooth interface

get a hold of it and yank it off , and that it . hope this helps

The ABS relay on the E36 316 compact is the red relay in the fuse box, which as u look under the bonnet is on the right hand side towards the back of the engine bay. If that is of any help to you?

Take it to a service center and have them put it o o lift and check it out.
