SOURCE: replacing front shocks
Jack up the front end and place on jack stands. Place jack stands on the frame behind the front wheels. Ensure stands are not in a place where they will slip and make sure vehicle is on an even surface as you do not want the vehicle to fall off of the stands, especially while you are under it. Remove tires once vehicle has been placed on the stands. Remove the top and bottom bolts from the long tubular shock. Then remove the bolts holding the coil shocks on. Because when doing this as there may be tension in the coil springs still. Replace the shocks and reinstall the bolts. This job is fairly simple but can be intimidating if you have never done it before. You will be amazed at how easy it actually is once you have done it. Just be sure to remember how everything came apart and you will be able to get everything back together just fine. You can use the jack to adjust the axle up or down to make getting the shocks out easier.

It's in the engine compartment IOD#2. It's a black module with two fuses in it. Take that module off and replace the 20 AMP one.

My 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee had the same problem. Over heated when standing still. Took it to dealer and they could not find any problem with cooling fan. After doing my own investigation I found out that the electric cooling fan would begin to seize up after about 1hr. of operating. (gets hot)
The dealer would look at fan and see that it was running and think its ok. The problem is, it wasn't running fast enough.
I have a relay on the right side of front fender and jumped the fan to stay on with motor off. (must know what your doing). After about 1hr. fan started slowing way down. Returned it to dealer told them what the problem was. They were not smart enough to jump the relay so they put a couple hundred miles on it even though i told them it works OK when moving. Make sure you tell dealer to use the relay to jump.
Replace cooling fan motor. Works great

With radio light turning on, it could be the wiring around the radio. Check the terminals as well as the fuse.
