I have a 2007 avalanche ltz fog lights wont always come on. checked fuses and they are good, however i did pull out the big black fuse and put it back in and fog light began to work again. is it the fuse? if so where can i get another one and how much is the price?

If it had four or five prongs coming out of the bottom it is the relay. There should be a part number on it. If there is you can have any parts store cross that number. If not bring it in and they should be able to match it up.

Did you check the fuses? It could also be a bad connection somewhere in the cab.
If you have had anything like extra speakers, sound system or alarm installed, suspect everything the installers came near.

Take a meter and check for power to the fog light,then check for power to fuse block...

How do you replace the fog light bulb on 2008 avalanche

- 1 Open the hood and reach down into the engine bay for the fog light assembly. If you cannot reach the fog light assembly from the top you may need to get underneath the truck to reach it. Remove the electrical plug running to the fog light ballast.
- 2 Remove the bulb. Unlock the fog light bulb by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it straight out of the assembly.
- 3 Slide a new bulb into the fog light assembly. The part number you will need for the new bulb will be located on the ballast or base of the old bulb.
- 4 Turn the bulb clockwise to lock it into the fog light housing.
- 5 Reconnect the electrical connector to the bulb ballast.

I have 2007 avalanche it started with my left brake light going out wasnt the bulb but when I twisted it would work for maybe a day and go out again now wont work no matter what and right brake doesnt work...

is the chech engin light on

Chevy Avalanche horn stopped working

you may have bad horn, take a test light and see if power is going to horn when horn is pushed, if theres power going to it then you have a bad horn,if theres no power to it then check the horn relay. but il bet if the fuse is good then the horns are bad.
