This is for both V8 engines 4.8 and 5.3
No firing order on a 4.2L 6 cylinder, each cylinder has it's own ignition coil pack, each coil pack sit on top of each cylinder, from the front of the engine to the back, on top of valve cover, the spark plug is below it, hope this was very helpful.

This is actually an easy swap out. Remove the electrical connection, remove the retaining bolt and pull out old one. I believe the sensor is located in the front passenger side of the engine on this particular model.
