I have a 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 5.9 l cummins. My ac blower does not work when I turn the switch up. My friend and I checked voltage/power and discovered the problem is between the ac blower fuse and wiring/plug to the ac blower switch on the center console. Where could my problem lie in between both these areas?
Any connectors or pass through in the firewall are good bets.
Most likely culprit is the blower control module/ resistor. It is the part that controls the blower motor speeds.

i cant be 100% sure but the likely problem is the totally intergrated power module....ie the main fuse block under the hood

no you should be able to do it There should be a routing label on the underside of hood or on the radiator support/ Its should not be very hard if you have one already just loosen the Alternator it will slide down get the other one ready look to see the way its routed then slide the new one and tighten up the alternator thats it/ Please rate my response thank you very much

I had the same problem on a 94 dodge with the cummins. It seems the crank sensor that reads from a notch on the harmonic balancer was the problem Without this sensor reading that the engine is running the alternator wont charge. Possibly the same problem with yours

I have seen once before that the fuse box was bad on a 2003 Dodge 3500. I had power in and nothing out. We had to replace the box. Not cheap! Hope it is simple like a loose connection though. I think I had to pull the inner fender on the drivers side to access the bottom of the fuse box. Pain in the ****, but...

Check wire loom coming through to door at hinge end of the door from pillar, and see if you have power going that far to switch. Not uncommon to find a worn, cracked, or broken wire in that loom where it bends constantly with opening & closing door.
