Brake light not work on the back parcel self merceds e300

You usually need to remove the back of the rear seat to remove the package tray.

Doesn't have a flasher , Lighting control module controls the light's .Google LCM - lighting control module

Yeah. I would go to a salvage yard get a used fuse block and change it

Hi, try to locate the power source for this light,Test the light from this end, possibly may be a loose fitting or could have unplugged. Best of luck.

cheak battry power, check brake switch, check wiring for short circuits, check for water within the lamp housing, check if connections are tight

xheck the switch wich is on the break pedal its self just need ajusting my merc done the same thing

1. Remove the parcel shelf.
2. Remove the 4 high mounted stoplamp mounting screws.
3. Remove the high mounted stoplamp.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

You've got to remove the upper cushions of the back seat to access the screws to allow you slide the parcel shelf forward. $80 labor, $2.00 bulb.

usually you can get to the brake light in the back window through the trunk,where the parcel shelf is theres usually a small area to change the globe,or on the brake light housing itself

It's a lot of work for just cleaning.
Fold the rear seat down and remove the two 12mm bolts on the bottom corners of the seat back, pull the seat out.
Between the seat bottom and the carpet you will find two tabs you need to pull and then pull the seat bottom up and out of the car.
Remove the two 10mm bolts securing the seat bolsters to the area the seat bottom was covering. Pull the seat bolsters up and out of the car.
Pop the "C" pillar trim off of the car (above the parcel shelf and beside the rear glass) (side airbag vehicles have a slightly different procedure.)
Pull up on the parcel shelf carefully and evenly. Remove clean and put everything back together.
