Look in the owners manual under "specifications" for the proper timing setting for your car. If you don't have a manual, call a dealer or a repair facility to get that info.
You also need to have some experience to do the job right. You probably need a "timing light" to set the timing. You can buy one at a automobile supply outlet, and they should be able to explain how to use it.
