IF IT WILL RUN WITH STATER FLUID YOU HAVE A FUEL ISSUE. SINCE PUMP SOUNDS DIFFERENT I WOULD START THERE. CHECK FOR VOLUME & PRESSURE ON FUEL RAIL IF IT NOES NOT THEN THE PROBLEM IS IGNITON, CHECK FOR SPARK
Facing the front of the truck it is on the left side of the firewall under neath the dryer follow the hoses from the condenser to the fire wall there is a silver dryer cylinder under the wiring harness it is at the bottom of that. Hard to see without flashlight may have to remove the wiring harness from the firewall for easier access

the problem is caused by a sticking air temperature control blend door and or a defective intermittent blend door actuator motor, very common failure on this truck.
