Where is the fuel filter located on a 2005 Ford Expedition 4X4 Eddie Baur.

Try disconnecting you battery and reconnecting it...radio and wipers are not on the same fuse...and the radio does not have a relay.

heater element is probably shot. slightly difficult to get to, so it will cost to have it fixed.

IF IT WILL RUN WITH STATER FLUID YOU HAVE A FUEL ISSUE. SINCE PUMP SOUNDS DIFFERENT I WOULD START THERE. CHECK FOR VOLUME & PRESSURE ON FUEL RAIL IF IT NOES NOT THEN THE PROBLEM IS IGNITON, CHECK FOR SPARK

Facing the front of the truck it is on the left side of the firewall under neath the dryer follow the hoses from the condenser to the fire wall there is a silver dryer cylinder under the wiring harness it is at the bottom of that. Hard to see without flashlight may have to remove the wiring harness from the firewall for easier access

Check fuel pressure. If good, replace sensor. If bad, replace fule filter first, then pump if no improvement.

It doesn't have one , not till 2005 model year , Yours has a fuel pump relay .

might try replacing the fuel filter and clean throttle body.

the fuel filtet is tucked inside the frame rail under the truck just about under the drivers seat

the problem is caused by a sticking air temperature control blend door and or a defective intermittent blend door actuator motor, very common failure on this truck.
