if the starter spins and grinds when you try to start the truck your starter is bad it could be a starter drive or other bad starter parts the problem with knewer cars is its just easyer to replace the starter then it is to rebuild then and more cost effective.

i have a 1989 toyota pickup 4x4 3.0 v6 changed the starter and only starts if its warm out brand new batt. new starter. help me with problem

you must remove oil filter and exhaust heat shield.

do you have enough power going to starter selinoid

there is no way to fix a rear main leak except to replace it, sorry but if there was a way to jerry rig this every tech would use it.

I HAVE A QUESTION THAT MIGHT HELP, THE 22-RE 4 CYLINDER HAS A STEEL TIMING CHAIN, IVE BEEN TOLD THAT THE V-6 HAS A RUBBER TIMING BELT ON THE SIDE OF THE MOTOR UNDER A COVER?

First problem sounds like starter solenoid. Second is definitely gearbox mounting.
