Im changing the wires on my f150 4.2L v6 2wd. now im not sure what order my wires went. i tried to do it one at a time. but i did sumthin wrong, cause when i got to the last wires i needed a small wire and i had none that were close to that size. now i took em all off and tried to redo but now im confused where they go.

If it's the wrong diagram simply do a Google search for 'Mazda Millenia firing order'

I'm not familiar with your car ... but does it have ordinary ht ignition leads, or colour coded ignition wires?
If it has colour coded ignition wires - each wire is a different colour for each different plug.

It seems that something was burned out trying to make the starter turn. The problem could be the starter and/or the solenoid.

Go to youtube and enter, "how to check a starter" you may have to remove it to check it. I could tell you how. But it is better if you see how it's done for yourself. Also check the fuses.

If it wasn't misfiring before. Make sure you have the proper gap on the spark plugs. Make sure you have the wires connected in the correct order. If you have the old wires, you may want to end up trying those one at a time to make sure you don't have a defect wire either.

If the car ran fine before you made repairs, then I would also assume that you have a plug wire on the wrong plug. If you cant locate the firing order, let me know, will be glad to send it to you.

Sounds like your timing is off when you placed the distributor back in or your spark plug wires are crossed. Start with the simple and check the spark plug wire firing order. 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 Cylinder numbers drivers side 1-3-5-7 radiator to firewall. Cylinder numbers passenger side 2-4-6-8 radiator to firewall. Distributor cap #1 is at 5 O'clock and rotates clock wise. Once that is establish to be good then make sure the cylinder 1 is at TDC with the distributor rotor at the #1 position. Good luck and hope it's a crossed firing order.

i bet you have put the plug leads on the wrong plugs?? have a close look at your fireing order to see if im right,,,

no the junky autozone scanner does not work on alot of cars its a orange actron scanner and it uses the wrong ground wire in the connector to talk to the cars computer and 80% of the cars dont use that wire to talk,,so who ever made that scanner didnt do there home work,,if you use a good scanner it will be ok,we had that same problem with that same scanner,,,all the time,,so we threw it away and got good ones and it works with every car,those guys at autozone are a joke,and the scanner is even worse,,your computer is fine,,why the light is on i dont know it could be honestly 1000 things,,go to mthe dealer

Go to your closest Volkswagen dealer and order the manual, it is quite a thick manual so you will have to search carefully for the solution to your problem. I do not recommend driving any distance with a signal light on the dashboard, especially if it has a buzzing sound associated with the light.
