Transmission shifting problem

Automatic with OD filter changed fluid changed 230000 kms
first gear takes long time to shift over 3000 rpm can help it if let off throttle and wait for it to shift then i cant" throttle up" too fast or tranny feels like shifting into neutral but if i" feather" throttle until it shifts into third( normal shift 2nd to 3rd) tranny is fine after its into third

You need to get a hold of your local Chevy dealer. There was a bullitin on slide shifting on these years. There is a wire that has to be jumped on the computer to solve this problem. Hopefully it hasn't already ruined the transmission

Lincoln LS2000, transmission hesitates to shift from park into any gear. No problems with shifting through gears in regular driving. Is this a major repair? Only 113,000 mi.
