SOURCE: mazda cx-7 2008 left headlight stopped working,

check the wiring from the headlight. You want to find the ground wire which is usually a black wire thats secured to some metal part of the car. Basically just check that all your wires are in tact and tightly secured. A bad ground is a very common electrical problem.

SOURCE: On a 2008 Mazda CX-7 Where is the Oil filter

Unless the CX-7 is different from all other cars I've driven, the filter is a cylindrical painted metal can, about 3 or 4 inches in diameter and 3 to 6 inches long. It can any color, depends on the brand. Go to an auto parts store and ask them for one for your vehicle, and look at it. Different vehicles take different sizes.
It is almost always located on the side of the engine block, between the oil pan on the bottom and the cylinder heads on the top. (You generally have to put the car up on ramps to reach it from the bottom, but I assume you are changing the oil, so you have to get under it to remove the oil drain plug as well.)
When you remove it, be careful for oil that may leak out of it as you are unscrewing it.

SOURCE: Why won't my 2008 Chrysler Aspen start?

You have 2 issue going on. Its not seeing a valid key,and it is starting with the remote.Your remote entry key did it happen to get wet? Or moisture get in? Lock the vehicle up using the key. enter the vehicle using the key fob. After the vehicle unlocks you have 60 seconds to enter the vehicle insert the key in the ignition start it up.Your remote start up is out of step.

SOURCE: my 2008 mazda 6 intermittenly won't crank, power window work and radio works, after it sits awhile it starts...is there any type of diagnostic to perform on this type of issue

first thing to do is get the car not to crank and check for power to the starter. if the starter has battery power and signal from the ignition switch then the problem is the starter. second thing is to check the plug at the trans range switch. the connector may be loose since you just had the trans repaired. ground may be an issue but not likely since the dash lights and other things work. GOOD LUCK.

I have a 2007 Mazda CX-7 that wont start. It just cranks over.

Somewhere like AutoZone will loan you a fuel rail pressure gauge. Somewhere on it there is a test port. You screw it on, and test in two ways. 1. pressure with the key turned on. 2. Pressure turning over. Compare against specs.

I can not open the door of the Mazda CX7

Hi,
You have the actual key that inserts into the door lock? Are you certain it's the correct key and not a 'valet' key? Does the car have other key locks that it may work in such as the rear hatch or passenger's door? Attached is the Owner's Manual or call the dealer for more ideas.

Here's what it says Heather,
  • The crankshaft position sensor identifies position of the crankshaft to the ignition control module (ICM), engine control module (ECM) or powertrain control module (PCM)
  • When not replaced, vehicle could experience no- or hard start, long crank time, misfire, lack of power, excessive hydrocarbons in oil, spark plug fouling, catalytic converter failure, poor fuel economy, CEL/MIL illumination or intermittent shutdown.I would say,go for it.

2008 madz cx7.. will not start and it does not show a problem when they ran diagnostics on it

Sometimes a starter will develope a flat spot. You can tap the starter with a hammer to coax it into starting. Before tapping it verify the cables to the starter are in tact and if you have a volt meter you can verify if the ignition is providing power to it.

MAZDA CX-9 P0354 CODE

Cylinder 4. Each cylinder has it's own coil above the sparkplug.
If you have a misfire, it's probably a bad coil. But if it's an intermittent misfire, it may be the wiring to the coil. If it's intermittent, start the car and wiggle the wires to that coil. If you cause a misfire you need to check the wiring to the coil.
Goode luck.
