2005 AND 2007 BOTH HAS THE 3.4L ENGINES.WHEN YOU SWAP IN A NEW ENGINE IN PLACE OF THE OLD ENGINE.NEWER ENGINES WILL HAVE DIFFERENT PART AND SET UP. BEST TO USE THE SAME YEAR ENGINE.YOUR PCM MEMORY HAS YEAR 2005 INFORMATION FOR ALL ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEMS.IF YOU CHANGE TO ANOTHER ENGINE WHICH IS A NEWER ENGINE.THE PCM WONT RECOGNIZE NEWER ENGINE BECAUSE PCM CHIP MEMORY IS SET UP FOR 2005 NOT 2007 THAT WILL CAUSE NO FIRING CONDITIONS.
take your vehicle to like Autozone or Discount Auto parts and let them put the scanner on it. If the check engine light is coming on, the computer is telling you something is going wrong.The scanner can tell the guys there exactly what you need to know. And its free!
The airbag will not be active until enough weight is in the seat, I believe it is somewhere around 70 pounds. Try having someone sit in the seat and see if the airbag is turned on.
