Reprogramming involves taking the following steps, but there may be car-model-related variations so only do the job for real with the specific EcuTek instruction manual alongside you.

Connect the vehicle interface cable to the OBD-II connector and turn the ignition switch to ON
Open the ProECU software and choose Tools then Detect Vehicle
Select Program Engine ECU
Choose Query ECU to identify the ECU version fitted to the car
Select Choose ROM File and pick the relevant modified ROM file to program into the ECU
Enter the ROM filename or your unique name for the ROM file in the Comments box so that in future you know exactly which ROM is in the ECU
Ensure that all electrical consumers about the car (such as interior lights, heater blower, stereo etc.) are turned OFF and that mobile phones are kept away from the car
Choose Program ECU
After programming the ECU, follow the on-screen instruction to cycle the Ignition
Start the engine

There is no onboard programming procedure for this vehicle. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote.

You can't just replace it because it need programming for that car. It have to be programmed with the VIN Number and the mileage. There are very few reasons that you would ever change an ECU. The number is on a paper sticker on the outside.

What is the process of ecu replacement.

remove ecu and install new ecu, then take it down to dealership to get it programmed. or just take it to a dealership to have them do it.

How to change the Vss on a 2005 Chevrolet Upander?

To change the license plate light bulb on a 2005 Chevrolet Malibu sedan reach the bulb socket from the inside of the trunk lid. The socket turns a 1/4 turn or so and pulls out. Bulb just pulls straight out of the socket, don't turn it.

You may want the ECU checked to make sure that the error is not still there, the ECU is the car's computer, and the fault remaining may have tricked the unit into thinking that the sensor is at fault, or the new part is defective.

first, there is an open recall for ecu problems on corolla, have your vin run by your toyota dealer to verify, hope you still have your old ecu,a new is around 1,800$ plus reprogram and re-write the vin on new computer, dont know if they will program yours(used) ask if there no other option.

no you should be able to bleed brakes ok and the ABS computer is the only one that resets itself once you drive it for a 100mtres

to code the ecu you need a vas-5051 scan tool with internet connection and vw-dealer credentials. aka only the dealer can do this.

2005 chevy malibu not starting will roll over but would not start

Possibly crank sensor. If the ECU does not receive the pulse from the crank sensor then the coils will not spark hence engine spins but no start.

that cannot be done from a simple download, the vehicle should be taken to a shop where they can program the ecu for you. most late model cars don't have removable chips in the ecu anymore. a good aftermarket/custom shop should be able to either program the ecu you already have or install a piggyback system that will work with your new exhaust.
