Driving down the street; turned the corner and suddenly, no warning, no D1; D2; or D3. Reverse and park are OK. Transmission fluid checked and OK. No warning lights or sounds just will not go forward.
I suspect you have a broken clutch drum or stripped splined shaft inside of the transmission. Even if the electronics failed you would still have 2nd, neutral, reverse, and park so the problem is most likely mechanical. Odds are pretty good that the transmission will need to be removed and repaired or replaced.
SOURCE: Gear Position light D4 is always flashing irrespective of gear.
This issue is caused by a transmission fault or malfunction, most likely a shift solenoid in the trans has failed or the trans control module has a problem, the trans can be tested for codes that will show what circuit or component of the trans controls is causing the light to stay blinking, have it tested.

In some cases the brake light will come on when the rear brake pads are getting worn down to low, check them if they appear to be lacking of enough brake material replace the rear shoes to make the light go out and restore adequate rear brake traction.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
You may just have system failure. As a first course of action, I strongly suggest that you remove the positive battery connector and let it sit for at least 5mins. before reconnecting it. This will reset the system and can get it back to it's normal operation.
If the problem still persists, I believe that you will need to have the torque converter replaced. This can be caused by a faulty or worn out torque converter as well.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!
