check the connector to the fuel pump for corrosion or loose pins, the fuel pumps of newer cars and trucks are designed to last at least 100,000 miles, when the new pumps quit did u verify they had power to them?

make sure the ground wire is hooked up, i've seen many trailers where the ground wire just hangs, then your relying on the ground to work between the ball and the hitch, not typically a good ground.

Had a similar problem - the motor connection to ground was poor - cleaned and tightened it to metal plate and it has worked fine ever since. Test the ground connection for continuity.

How can I replace the a/c fan knob Pontiac Montana

If it broke off the pole on the heater control assembley that the knob mounts to you
could try gluing it but, 99% of the time it wont work and will break again. You need
heater control. Check with your local junk yard, it would be the cheapest route to go. Worst case call the dealer and see how much a new heater control for your
costs. At least if it is new you know you will not have other problems.

there is a resistor that controlls the speed of the fan and you have to replace it it is located where the plug goes to the fan motor it should have two plugs in it one from the controlls the other goes from the resistor to the fan it is a dealer only item it costs around 89 dollars check different dealerships if you have more than one close by the price will vary my 2006 chevy silverado work truck lost the 1 and 2 speeds then others and it was freezing out and i replaced it and have not had any problems since inspect the wires i had two wires and one part of the plug melted on mine went to junk yard and got a new plugg for under ten bucks dealer wanted 117 dollars

I just bought a 2000 chevy blazer about a month ago at 148k. and just a week or so ago my dash lights went out and they wont come back on.. but i can turn the brightness adjuster and turn them on.. but...

if i were you i would go to a local junk yard and get a new dimmer switch and see if that fixes the problem.

the fact that after you changed the part from the junk yard it blew warm air indicates that the heater core is not the problem
could be the heater control is not fully opening or the junk yard replacement part is faulty

Look on ebay, craigslist, and check local junk yards, nka auto recycling centers, and you will find many plain jane stock GM radios for sale cheap. i would stay away from the high end units as then you will be on here asking for instructions on how to reset the anti-theft codes.

Changing upper ball joint 2005 chevy silverado

this can be done with a press, however most dealers wont sell upper balljoint they recomend replacing the a-arm its self. most time you can pick up the complete a-arms new on ebay for under $100 i bought 2 used from the junk yard off a new truck with less then a 100 miles for $55 a piece, its way faster to replace the a-arm and cheaper. good ball joints are $60 a piece plus the time to press them out. so if you can get anew arm with the ball joint for around the same price well why not

Ac compressor won't kick on

Just had the same issue and posted. Just found the solution is the control module in the dash. Went to the junk yard since new is expensive on these units. Plugged new unit in, was able to charge a/c now blows cold as ice.

it could be the switch on the door panel??? Are it could be the motor to the window. Take the door panel off, and jump the switch out. If it works by jumping the switch out. it will be and easy fix. It not, then you will need a new window motor. You can sometime pick an motor up for half price and your local junk yard. When you find your problem out and get it fix. go to the autoparts store an pick up a can of spray silicon lubercant, and spray it in your window tracks. over a pirod of time the window start dragging, causing the motor and switch to fail.
