No, there was a body change in 2011. 2011 to 2018 will interchange with a 2013 as far as the hood. 2011 to 2014 for the bumper.

Make sure there are no worn front end components on the vehicle. Is it equipped with large off road tires? The steering damper shock attached to the steering linkage may be worn out

E-bay says you can find one on a 2003 that should fit. Also, 1500,2500, or 3500 should fit as well, (of those 2 years).

Could be the box. Something is awful loose, or binding to keep it from returning easily. Raise and support the front end, and watch the steering parts' movements as someone turns the wheels from left to right. Maybe you can spot the problem. Are any of the rods or linkages bent, like from an impact? If it has a damper rod (looks kind of like a shock absorber), does it move smoothly? If you can't see a problem in the linkage, then it very well could be the steering box.

It may be related to the steering damper shock on the steering. It could also be tie rod ends or a worn bushing. Hard to pin point without raising the vehicle and inspecting the steering and suspension linkages.

best way to find out is to call a salvage yard. They have interchange books that tell what models are interchangeable from year to year and model to model

I had a truck at work that did the same thing. Only if you hit a pothole. In my case the front tires were way out of balance. Hope it's something that simple.
