My mom's new 2019 Chevy Equinox drivers height adjuster worked on day one but it hasn't worked since. It is a manual adjuster. She had to put a foam cover to see as she is short.

Can't figure out problem. Need to fix height adjuster. Maybe it was faulty? I spoke to dealer, but I am far North, Nunavut. Help please. George

Sorry can't help much - there is a variety of methods used to provide height adjustment and as usual the best way of discovering why something doesn't work is to discover how it should work and in the absence of information, removing the seat and studying the mechanism seems favourite.

Removing a seat is fairly straightforward but where airbag or active seatbelt pretensioners need to be disconnected the usual safety precautions should be observed - disconnect the battery an hour before you start work to allow the electronics to fully discharge.

Thanks Vernon for your response. After reading someones comment about playing around with controls on seat adjuster, I tried to use controls a bit more aggressively, I could not get it working. However, I got my 6 foot plus son to fiddle around with it and it works fine now. No more issues.

SOURCE: 2005 chevy equinox cracked head

Sounds kind of high to me...I'm assuming they are putting in a new head at that price. I'd get the vehicle back and get estimates from a good shop (not a dealer) that can locate a used head and replace yours. Replacing a head should not take more than a day or two.

I doubt they did anymore damage but i`ll bet that the engine was damaged from the training going out such as valve guides and seals and carbon build up on plugs ETC.

Question edited for clarity and add maker.

It is fairly easy, but you need a Beam Board to shine the lights on.

I'm trying to hotwire a dash cam on a 2019 Chevy Equinox. Can I use any empty fuse slot?

Only if it's switched on with the IGN. Otherwise it will drain your battery overnight, and

Only if there are contacts inside and they are powered with key on.

I have a 2019 Street Glide w Burly springs. It was bottoming out so I adjusted them two knotches. My question is does that adjustment only effect the spring? Or does it change the ride height as well?

Moving the position causing the springs to have less room to operate, adds more pressure. That makes it more difficult for it to bottom out.

Your shock has a maximum height extension and that is not affected by the adjustment on the spring.

How much air should i put in my chevy equinox 2005 tires?

Look at the side of the tire itself, tire pressure is right there. Open the door, look down and see the sticker, the info is right there along with the size of the tires when you need to buy them. Open the owners manual, again the information is right there.
