Should be located in your fuse box in most cars not all cars the box will be located on the sides of the dash panel open the car door you should see a compartment there or under the dash driver side. and it does not reference it there your last resort is under the hood in the main engine fuse box how that helps

I have a 2004 chevy Malibu would anyone happen to know Is there a way i can get Into my trunk from the inside of my car, my key stop working to the trunk and so did the trunk release button, all of my...

There is a relay in the rear fuse block for the trunk release. marked trunk relay #36. It is marked on the under side of the lid. If you knew how they worked you could open it by jumping pin 30 to pin 87 in fuse box. on the side of the relay is a diagram of what pins are what . This system uses an electronic control module called ( the BCM ) body control module .When you push the inside release button , that sends a signal to the BCM ,then the BCM activates the relay opening the trunk . Well that won't help ,you won't believe where the fuse box is ! Fuse Block - Rear
In the rear compartment, behind the left wheel well. You could jump the wire at the BCM that goes to the relay. Can't you pull down one of the rear seats to gain access ?

2004 Malibu Maxx keeps blowing horn fuse. Works when I replace fuse for about 6 times. Horn itself feels touchy as in only works when pressed certain way. Shift paddle on side of shifter also does not...

Try disconnecting the horn itself from the circiut, hold the horn button on for a while,if the fuse no longer blows,it's a safe bet the horn itself was the culprit,if it still burns the fuse, the wiring or clockspring are shorting out

My keys are locked in my trunk. i have 2004 malibu. my trunk release button isnt working. How do i check the fuse to see if its bad when i dont know which fuse it is

I think the fuse cover might be on the drivers side of the dash. Can only see it when the door is open. After removing cover I think the inside of the cover gives you a description of each fuse location.

The remote entry button will not unlock my 2005 Malibu trunk and never will using the key or the trunk button in the car. What can I do to open the trunk?

Try pressure on the trunk cover with the key turning the locking mech. Also spray loosening oil in it as well. If this doesn't work u might have to remove the back seat. Check fuses befor u take this step or drilling it out. Hope this helps.

04 Chevy Malibu won't unlock

Remote control door lock reciver an the BCM - body control module control the locks . The key switch is a electrical input to the BCM , the BCM controls the door lock actuators . Your best bet ,have it towed to the dealer .

My car doors unlocks automaticly

I had the same issue on my 2005 Malibu. They unlocked over and over, 5-10 times at a time, then would stop for a bit, then would do it again. I had to replace the remote to fix.
