The driver side window of my dodge caravan wont roll down, the window controller works for all the other windows but the drivers side. I have taken the door panel off and found out that the motor is recieving power to roll up, you can hear the motor clicking but there is no clicking when you hit the down button. Is this fixable or shoule i just get a whole new regulator?
The regulator is burnt out and you need a new one. I would just replace it.
Mine is a 2006 Dodge Caravan, after learning the regulator and motor had been replaced 3 times within 40,000 miles I converted it to manual. I welded a piece of hex stock to the center of the motor. The ratchet handle folds into the panel to lock the window. Works great!
