SOURCE: CLIMATE CONTROL BULBS DEAD SEBRING 2000
According to the Chrysler manual the heater/AC control unit bulbs can only be serviced by an "authorized service center after removal from vehicle" If your comfortable taking it apart to look anyway it probably can't hurt.

Obvious that something is drawing down the battery...Put a test light between the negative cable and the negative post of the battery (remove cable first) start pulling fuses till light goes out. That will tell you what system is drawing...you can then begin looking for the actual problem. If all fuses pulled and light remains on ,chances are you have an internal alternator problem.

Yes, but only if your red dot on the dash is on. Have you charged the battery, or just tried to jump it? I would start with a fresh battery if your security light is not on.

hi, have exactly the same problem on a 2000 2.5 tdi, have rectified it by removing first fuse at top of box. This controls central locking, stereo & interior lights so now I just have to trace fault. when you reconnect battery I hear a relay clicking from both the left & right hand sides which seems to be on the bulkhead, these relays are not releasing and are discharging the battery after 3 days. If you can live without the above try it, your odometer light will go off too.
Will post soultion when I find it. [email protected]
