I have a 2001 Ford taurus SE. iS THAT THE cd CHANGER IN THE TRUNK ON THE LEFT SIDE?and how does it open to load CD"s? If not, what else would this be in the trunk?

Sounds like the keyless entry system is on the fritz. You will probably have to get a new brain for the keyless entry system.

I have the same car with the same problems except for the tail light. My radio works when it wants. This morning I went out and my trunk was open and now it will not stay closed. I dont know what to do. I have no idea where to start with fixing the radio. Did you ever find a solution.
