Are you saying the starter motor won't crank the engine?
Was it working ok before you worked on it?
Make sure battery has a full charge, if it cranks good but won't start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If spark everywhere, use a gage and check proper fuel pressure. Also, check fuel injector pulse.
Are there any applicable trouble codes? If you fully obd1 compliant, you should be able to check some codes, yourself.
Your cam and crank sensor share ref voltage and ground, I'd want to check that.

Wow!!! I don't think I would put that much faith in gorilla glue. I had the same problem and had to replace the hb pully. My belt ended up slipping and jumped a few teeth causing the car to be badly out of time. Fix it before that happens.

YES YOU DO HAVE TO HAVE A SPECIAL ADAPTER FOR THE NORMAL BALLANCER PULLER. NAPA HAS THE TOOL AND THE # IS BK700-2461. ONCE AGAIN THE ADAPTER IS USED WITH THE BALLANCER PULLER YOU ALREADY HAD. YOU HAVE TO SCREW THE EXTENSIONS INTO THE BALLANCER AND INSERT ANOTHER EXTENSION INTO THE CRANKSHAFT TO GET THE OLD ONE OFF. WHY G.M. DID THAT TO US IS STILL A MYSTERY.

SOURCE: Mitsubishi Eclipse Harmonic Balancer 3.0L Removal

There is a panel inside the wheel well that you can take off that gives you perfect access to the harmonic balancer. A special tool is required. i had my dad make one because he has access to whatever he needs at the factory. but you can get them at the dealer. i have no clue how much they cost. I can't see any way of doing it without the special tool. after you get the tool its pretty simple to get off. it takes alot of force to break the bolt loose though. i used the handle off my jack as a cheater bar. hope this helps...

How do i tighten up the harmonic balancer pully

You may want to have a reputable mechanic take a look at this - simply whacking it with a hammer could likely cause other significant problems. You definitely don't want the nose of your crank beat up.

Volvo s80 t6 after putting my serpintine belt back on when i started the car a good size of the belt ripped of and wrapped around my harmonic balncer to the timming belt and shut my car right down

Did the piece of serpentine belt actually make contact with the timing belt ? The timing belt should have been behind the timing cover.
And does the engine crank normally ? Normal compression ?

The biggest wheel under the belt is vibrating ad making alot of noise. How long do i have before i break down? and is it the harmonic balancer?

by biggest wheel under the belt are you talking about the lowest wheel on the motor at the bottom of the motor then it is the harmonic balancer the rubber dampener material between the outer and inner metal balancer is coming apart.you should get this replaced as soon as possible.if it separates completely it can cause alot of damage to other components and cost more money to repair the damage

How do i put a harmonic balance on a 1997 dodge caravan 3.0 engine

first step is to remove the serpintine belt remember which way it comes off or sometimes theres a sticker under hood that tells u the belt routing. next jack up passengerside of vehicle remove the tire inside the wheel well theres some plastic that wil have to be removed some cases its already gone if so u will be able to see the harmonic balancer its the very bottom pulley with about a 15/16 bolt in the center of the pulley. remove it note that bolt is torqued very tight the best way is to have access to an impact gun. once bolt is removed u will need a harmonic balancer puller . not if ur worried on how it goes back together theres is on 1 way that it goes back on the pulley will have a notch on it and the crank shaft with a half moon key way. install in revers order.

I have a Kia Sportage 4wd 2002 with under 60000 miles. I lost power steering and when I took to mechanic they said I threw a belt(which they replaced with great difficulty) due to a bent or warped harmonic...

I got stuck paying dealer for new crank pulley not harmonic balancer as mechanic said. I am driving as little as possible until part comes in and can br put on. Hopefully, I will not damage the crank shaft or throw a belt.

crank should have no visible play maybe the crank pulley(harmonic balancer) or misaligned pullley somewhere else also check for cracks on the acessory plate(what all the stuff bolts to)
