If the wires in your vehicle are different, you may need to trace them back a bit farther to see if someone has added the different colors after the original. For example, if they had a different system in it and changed some of the wiring colors. There should be some of the original wiring left in the dash somewhere if this is the case.

The door speakers on the Tahoe are roughly 6 3/4" and are made specifically for GM.

Any aftermarket 6 3/4" speaker will fit however if you're looking to replace them.

My mothers 96 Tahoe did the same thing last year. It was a blown speaker in the rear causing her problem. Hope this helps.

check wiring on passengers side near the rear hatch speaker, the rear door speakers are run through them also. i had the same problem and it was a unplugged connector at that location

6 IN A HALFS GO IN THE FRONT AND 8 INCH SPEAKERS IN THE REAR
