Where is the input speed censor on a Chrysler 300 touring 2007 model could someone help I've changed throddle body I have improvement but still not shifting correct

6 engine/trans combos new, non told nor if AWD opted, I can guess these.
the bigger engine use the higher load rated NAG1 box. so I really cant guess lacking a VIN.

USA answer. (scan the PCM first to see if there are VSS errors, or any speed sensor, errors.)

.not told which of the 2 transmissions you have.(day1 new car, it had 1 of 2 boxes)
nobody can guess this. The cars VIN code, answer this , ask the dealer of car ,for the build sheet using this VIN.
or look under the car, read the transmission TAG for name.


42REL, 2 sensors out side left case. made by Chrysler.


NAG1.,MB German transmission, 722.6,input speed sensor 1 and 2 are deep inside this tranny.
and may have 1 outside called output speed. sensor. got AWD or not. MATTERS.

got here and find the parts ,use a VIN cold and get 10 time better information.

Scan the PCM for codes. Find out if your dealing with an emissions problem, Transmission problem or a brake lockup situation. How are the condition of the brakes N calipers?

Common Problems That Trigger the P0731 Code

• Defective Gear 1 Shift Solenoid
• Defective Forward Clutch
• Defective Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor
• Defective Valve Body
• Dirty transmission fluid that restricts the hydraulic passages

I have a chrysler 300 m 2002 and i was wondering what the torque is on the inner and otter tie rods

A wheel speed sensor?

They are located at each individual wheel.

An output or input speed sensor?

They are located on the drivers side of the transmission. They are yellowish white in color and look identical to each other. You will need a 1 inch socket to remove and replace them.

The input speed sensor is towards the front of the transmission and the output speed sensor is located toward the rear of the transmission.
