remove the passenger side lower insulator panel. behind the panel you wil find the blower motor housing. next to the blower motor housing there will be a wiring connector with 6 to 8 wires going in to it. the connector will be held secure with 2 screws. remove the connector and remove the screws -- this is your resistor. reverse the process to re-install.

Had the same thing happen to my truck, the blen door actuator is under the console on passenger side, but the heater core is going to be clogged if you dont have any heat coming through, but a/c works..

Cruise control not working in my 2009 Silverado. It went out gradually over the past several months, pretty much worked intermittantly.

cruise control module has failed. or if your brake lights are staying on, then brake light switch has failed and not allowing cruise to engage. Have someone stand behind truck and see if brakes are working properly, if not- replace brake light switch. if fine, then swap out cruise control module under hood.... prob find one at a junk yard.

My rear view mirror with temp and compass sometimes will not work. It will show all the digital shows up at once and not the temp, but sometimes it works ok. What can I do?

Does the compass work when the temperature goes out? If the compass still works then chances are that the ambient temp sensor is defective. Also, could be wiring to the sensor. If the compass goes out with the temperature then chances are the mirror itself is defective. Cheapest most common problem is the ambient temp sensor. It's behind the grill by the condenser at the front of the vehicle.
