A/C sounds like an issue with the a/c module which is unusual. There used to be a test sequence on the earlier a/c units not sure if it is on the 4.2. Check all fuses there are four fuse boxes. one at the end of the dash by the door and two under the bonnet. the radio/cd player etc is all one unit (medIa unit), that would explain why they all are not working. I think the a/c fault is connected to the media unit but not sure how. Need to study the wiring diagram for this, I take that it is a 4.2. Jaguar diagnostics will show the fault or give a lot more guidance. Generic scanners wont pick up the fault codes for things like this they are manufacturer specific. That's how manufacturers lighten your wallet. website jagrepair has all the electrical diagrams free.

What do i do with the dimmer wire and illumination wire when installing a aftermarket radio

It is important to follow the wiring recommendations supplied with the radio.

The illumination is usually connected internally so the screen lights when the radio is switched on but as the wire is available, where it is connected depends on whether the display can be seen without the illumination and whether the radio is activated by the ignition key or supplied direct from the battery.
If the radio has an output for an electric aerial or aerial amplifier, it would be as well to connect the illumination to this or otherwise connect it to position 1 of the ignition switch.

The dimmer wire is connected to the dashboard illumination lights...

I have a honda odyssey 2001 the light of the panel are not workinkg all the rest of the lights are working i check the fuse and are ok only i did was change the radio and install a new one but did not...

I'm guessing you're talking about the dash light aound the radio. The dash lights around the radio share the same fuse with all the other lights that come on when you turn the parking light on. If the other light are working then your fuses are fine. What i think might have happen was when you took the dash cover off, the bulbs behind it might had burn out. You might want to try new bulbs.

good luck

• The radio displays an "INITIALIZING" message for approximately 30 seconds after vehicle start up.

We can't get the factory 6 disc cd player to load more than 1 disc. What is the sequence for loading additional discs?

The following is the owner's manual for your 2004 Dodge Neon:

http://www.dodge.com/en/owners/manuals/index.html?year=2004&nameplate=Neon

P.99 describes how to load discs:

1. Select and press any numbered button without an illuminated light above it.
2. Insert the CD while the light above the chosen button is flashing and the two lights on either side of the slot are illuminated.
3. Upon insertion, the CD will begin to play, and both the button light and the lights in the corner of the loading slot will illuminate.
4. Repeat the process for loading any additional CDs. The CD playe rwill stop while additional CDs are loaded.

Playing Discs
The radio will show the CD number, the CD track number, and the Track Time Elapsed while the radio is in the CD mode. IF more than one CD is loaded in the changer, the changer will automatically play the next disc after playing the last track of the current disc.

Wow, that's a lot of typing.
I didn't know the 2004 Dodge Neon had such a nice changer.
Good luck.

Can I install a a 2007 Camry CD/Radio unit in my 2002 Camry?

The 2002 and the 2007 radio connections are markedly different. Remember that the 2007's are "satellite ready"; this changes the back side wiring configurations dramitically.
