and cars and trucks are not the same world wide for sure this.
If you mean low fuel light then you may have a problem in the fuel level sending unit inside the gas tank, if I were you I would just live with the light not working.
next would be to check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail (under hood @ fuel inj sight) It sounds more like a fuel delivery problem then an electial problem
