Testimonial: "Thank you.Could moisture on the coil pack have caused this problem as it has gotten colder of late?"
sound like bad ignition module.make sure where coil pack set in module contacts is clean and making good contact.also make sure plugs and wires is good.

did you replace only one spark plug? that can cause issues because of differences in resistances between cylinders. also, did the map code stay off after replacing

SOURCE: coil pack
most new trucks have no use for a coil pack but if yours has one it wouldnt be the problem it sounds like there water getting into the intake and flooding the the motor with water or a very big hole in the hose leading to the vacuum hoses is getting water in it :)

well since you have already eliminated some possible causes now try the ignition module its the plate underneath the coil pack it is not a coil because then it would be misfiring on both cylinders to the coil and 1 goes with 4if this does not solve your problem only one thing left a bad computer causing this problem if you use a scanner you will see it actually is detecting the misfire through the injectors and that means the injector drivers in the computer are worn out. i have seen this several times and when you replace the computer it will have to be reprogrammed by a chevy dealer because the anti theft will not allow it to start . hope this helps you.
