Hi, first thing to check is your clutch reservoir,it's next to your brake master cylinder,if low or about empty,then your clutch slxve cylinder is bad,leaking and not holding pressure,here's a few links to look at,the job is real easy to do,you can have someone help or you can do it by yourself,you will need a bleeder kit,Autozone has them for about 8 nbucks and a container of brake fluid,yes brake fliud,no clutch fluid. Check both O2 sensor(s) and catalytic coverter.. P0420 means catalyst below threshold. Also check the sensor at the transmission and solenoid.

Hello;
I need to know the codes so I can properly diagnois your problem. Here are a few tips though. Your electronics inside the transmission may be going out. You should start by changing the fluid and the filter. Let me know if there is a lot of metal or fiber shavings in the pan. Put new fluid in and clear your codes. See how it shifts and then let me know what is going on with it. Hope this helps.
Thanks;
Rich
