Volt meter fluctuates in cold weather
well that is battery volts.
but id never trust that dash meter, i use a real meter, to see if the dash gauge is fibbing. see?
if it is, then we work the meter. or data to it.
if the battery varies, then the alternator system is malfing,
if the battery does not vary, but the cig lighter port varies, that is wiring issues,
fluctuations if real?
is battery is doing that or the wiring. from it.
has voltage drops. (bad wiring) along the way.
if all is good, in wiring at battery , at cig and dash,
then the gauge is bad or the PCM is sending bad data to cluster computer.
first is to scan it, scan the pcm.
