I have a 2004 Saturn Vue. Both the 12 volt power outlets are no longer working. I'm guessing it's a fuse thing but I don't know where those fuses are located as there's no indicator in the manual.

sounds like a blown fuse maybe take a test light and make sure the mirror itself is getting power and its not faulty the miirror should be getting 12 volts no less or means a bad ground
Most newer vehicles have aux outlets that can only handle so many watts and do go out if overloaded. If the fuse is good, pull the outlet out and check the hot wire for power. If the wire is hot the outlet needs to be replaced. Go to Autozone orAdvanced Auto and purchase a replacement outlet either in the "Help" section or in the Accessory aisle.
Chech the master switch, You will have to pry it out or remove the door panel to get to it. Check for corrosion on the black wire, This is the ground wire. I have a 1997 GMC Jimmy and had the same problem. I cleaned the black ground wire and reconnected it and it started working for about 2 years and then had to do the same thing again. GM has had a real problem with window switches. I have a 98 Pont. Transport. The same thing happened to it. If this is not the problem, I would go to a auto electrical shop and they can put a test meter on it for you to see if power is going out.
If you have a multimeter, You can also put one lead on the ground wire and another on one of the other switch wires and see if 12 volts shows on the meter when you toggle the switch. If no power going out then the switch may be bad.
If it is like most Saturns if you had the radio or any eletrical equipment on when you changed the battery it blows the fuse. It will also blow the fuse to your turn signals or wipers if they are on.
