Firing order and camshaft sensor for a 96 chevy lumina 3.1 v6

What is the firing order from the front view on a 96 chevy lumina 3.1 v6? also will a miss fire cause the check engine light to come on and show up on a diognostic as cam shaft sensor problem? if not where is the location of the cam shaft sensor and how do you replace it on a 96 chevy lumina 3.1 v6 ? thank you!

Firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6 , engine numbering is 1-3-5 towards the back and up front is 2-4-6, coil numbering from left to right is 1-4, 6-3, 2-5. This is for your year of engine I hope this helps you!

Both the V6 3.1L ,3.4L , and 3.5L firing orders, are
-> 1-2-3-4-5-6 (All Vin's)

The 3.8L is 1-6-5-4-3-2 (Both Vin's)

It's held down by one bolt right above the timing chain cover. It's next to the head that's facing toward the front of the car.
