SOURCE: loud engine noise in 1994 cavalier

I think the engine is most likely defective, the used one is the best bet, try and find one with low miles, you can do a nation wide search here.

SOURCE: Low oil pressure on 2001 Suburban

your oil sensor comes on at less than ten psi, you may have internal engine damage how many miles on engine, any gum up inside engine, you can try to put on a high pressure high volume melling oil pump to try to help for the time being, but you may need to have it torn and repaired.

SOURCE: knocking when engine gets hot and car stopped

The fan clutch can make a knocking noise when it tries to engage. At idle it will have a rhythm to it when it tries to engage. You will have an over heating condition and the air conditioning may not work properly.

The fix is to replace the fan clutch and reprogram the engine control module.

My generator was mixing water with oil in oil pan and while time I investigate and dismantled the rocker arm covers I found something the water also comes in the rocker arms. so what's the reason?

Oil is pumped around the engine. If there is water in the oil, that too is pumped around the engine.
If the engine is water cooled, I would remove the head, if it is warped, have it skimmed and then refit with a new gasket.
If it is air cooled, condensation is common. Replace the oil and any filter.

Could be a number of things - you're going to end up checking the entire car.

Off the top of my head:
a) exhaust component has rusted loose (usually catalytic converter heat shield). Any loose exhaust component (hanger/muffler, etc.) will vibrate at idle.
b) glove compartment door - loose hinge
c) motor mount - rubber part of metal/rubber mount vibrates loose & falls out.
d) transmission mount - ditto.

I have no oil pressure in the car we pulled the valve cover today and found 6 of the rocker arms were not installed, we havent pulled the other cover yet however with this not installed would this affect...

Hi,
are you serious? Aside from that question. If there are rocker arms missing it could affect the oil pressure. Are the oil feed holes in the area of each missing rocker plugged off?

Perhaps I had better back-track here. If the oil lube system has no restrictions in it then there will be minimal oil pressure developed. The oil pump will be pumping oil to the lower end of the engine and that will be where oil press if any will be developed.

The rocker area has drillings which restrict the oil delivery from the pump, however, the rocker arms themselves offer resistance to the oil supply and the oil must have enough flow and pressure to form a circle of oil within the rocker arm and thus keep it clear of the shaft. The oil flow goes through the rocker arm, and down over the valves and pushrods,(if fitted) and drops back down into the oil pan. Different set ups can be used, but that's a basic configuration.

The engine lubrication is designed with certain resistances, and they in turn affect the flow of oil and the pressure developed by the pump.

Good luck.

My heads r no pumpin oil wat can be my problem i change the pick up line and the filter !!!

WELL IF OIL NOT PUMPING AT ROCKER ARMS.IF HEADS BEEN REMOVED YOU HAVE TO ADJUST VALVE LASH AT ROCKER ARM AND PUSHROD TO THE LIFTER BEFORE IT PUMP OIL.IF ENGINE HEADS HAS NOT BEEN REMOVED.OIL NOT PUMPING.POSSIBLE CAUSE RESTRICTED OIL PASSAGES OR WORN OUT VALVE LIFTERS AND CAMSHAFT LOBES.FAULTY OIL PUMP REGULATOR OR WEAK OIL PUMP.

The rocker arm ticks

before trying too much the lifters will sometimes bleed off some of the prime they have. first try putting in a pint of marvel mystery oil. if that doesn't fix it run an oil pressure test to see if you need a new pump or new lifters
