SOURCE: 2009 HHR won't start. Battery is good.

Is the security light on or blinking? If not then do you have power to the starter. You can check this with a test light. You should have power when you turn the key to start. The test light should light up.Should be the small wire.I believe it is purple in color. If the security light is on then you will have to get the codes to see what is causing the no start.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Program remote fob 09 chevy hhr

The ONLY way to program a HHR remote is with a computer interface. Don't waste your time doing all of those dances, the Might apply to other GM products NOT to HHR.

Need to program new remotes for a 2009 chevy hhr

As far as I know you need a special tool (Tech II) from Chevrolet to program the remotes. Don't think you can do it on your own. You can double check your owner's manual but unfortunately I think you have to go to the dealer.

Car battery went dead and now my keyless remote won't work

Try pressing and holding the lock and unlock buttons at the same time for 15 seconds and see if the remote will 'resynchronize' with the vehicle.

2009 HHR Standard (not automatic) Key Stuck in Ignition

FYI this is now a free dealer fix--Service Bulletin--not a recall. chevy sent letters reregarding issue. Mine was the lock cylinder housing was faulty, the piece that holds the springs to the pieces in for the key shape poped out. temp fix is you can unplug wiring harness under steer wheel to disable the car and remote will still lock door and alarm still works. Of course mine went out on a saturday afternoon. you can remove the lock cylinder yourself and take to locksmith, they can fix the cylinder probably for under 10 bucks. i luv it a 16000 car stuck because 1/8" by 1/2" piece of metal comes loose.

2006 hhr 2.4 won't start after replacing both camshaft position sensors.

Did you remember to plug in the MAF sensor? Are you sure the air chamber is correctly installed on the throttle body?

My hhr will not turn off, where is the battery so i can disconnect it

Unplugging the battery won't shut it down I don't think.

Get into your fuse box under the dash or in the engine compartment and pull the fuse for the fuel pump.
