I am getting oil in my oil pan , changed oil & still doing it it had a low oil pressure code due to oil thining out. i checked the temp between cyls there was i 10 degree diff on one & also have back pressure coming out of vent tube from top of valve cover. any ideas? truck seems to run ok .coolant is fine too..
My guess is to check your cylinders for over fueling. My guess you lost an injector and it's flooding a piston and flowing past the rings. So leaky injector either replace or rebuild them to avoid it happening to more injectors. But could be something else like the pump leaking also. Anywhere you have fuel in the crankcase there is not to many places for it to leak from

The 3 psi is caused by a failed transfer pump. The problem the loss of could be the VP44 injection pump. This pump should be run at min 7psi. I had the same fuel pressure problem. I replaced my stock transfer pump with a FASS DDRP from www.usdieselparts.com. The stock pump is over $200 to replace and will fail again, sometimes right out of the box. The DDRP will supply about 15psi to the pump and is simple to install. I hope this helps.

your trans cooler is restricted. most likely it is part of your radiator and if it is restricted you will either need to replace the radiator or install an aftermarket cooler. have your trans cooler flow checked and go from there

it doesn't have a fuel pump relay it has a fuel pump control unit and it is located on the chassis back quarter drivers side near the tube cross member for chassis on top of chassis rail near bed mount. locate the rear springs front perch and it will be above that on top of rail.
