2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee driver side power windows do not work

Power windows driver side (front and rear) do not work, power lock on drivers door does not work, rear works. Passenger side front and rear power windows and locks work. Power side mirrors work. Driver door does not lock or open with remote, all other doors lock and open with remote. Harness wires thru driver door boot are all okay and not broken. Did repair black harness wire 1 year ago, repair is fine. All was working fine until driver window was rolled down and then 2 power window problems and driver door lock problem occurred. Driver door power window will now not go up and rear driver side door will not go down or up. Others ok from driver door switches.

I had a similar problem...my drivers door mirror, lock and window worked...driver side passanger window worked...passenger side windows locks and mirror didn't work. My friend followed the advice on here and found the orange wire on the passenger side broken completely in two. Several of the wires on the driver as well as the passenger side were cracked so he fixed that problem while he was at it. Thank you to all the others who had similar problems and the people that knew how to fix it. Everything is working like it was new again!!

SOURCE: the passenger window in my

All you need to do is gain acess to all wiring you need to
check out & possibly repair

You may have to remove the door panel

You can match up wire colors if they are worn
or completely separated

You won't need a diagram or wiring shcematic to do that

If you strip a wire that is broken & need to solder it,& it
is too short, you can add the correct size or gauge wire
at that time

Once you get to the wire and find the problem all you
need is good soldering skills, that part will be the most fun

Power windows don't work on all 4 doors and power lock doesn't work on the driver door. 2004 jeep grand cherokee

On the driver side, the window/door lock module has the power lead either pulling away from the connection or has broke entirely. Another common cause is the wire harness between the door jam, this is the area that has a rubber boot covering the wires and from opening and closing the door, it creates a broken or loose connection over time. Open the driver side door, grab the rubber boot that the wires run thru, and move it around. Some times this will help create the connection and restore the power. If not, the door panel will need to be removed to inspect the wire connections.

Which fuse comtrols power windows and locks on 2004 grand cherokee Jeep

it is probably not a fuse, check the boot inside the door to see if there is a broken wire. that is probably what it is.
