We changed the sweat panel that controls on and off cause we thought that that was the problem it came on then after we replaced it but then would not come back on we could feel air but not blowing out the fan seems to be working we took it out to check it we bought a new resistor but do not know where it goes can you help thank you

If it was the motor that went out then it would not blow at all. The resistor is the culprit that starts killing off speeds. It should be about $25 to $30 at an aftermarket store like autozone or advanced auto parts.

Remove the shroud below glove box, 2 screws and a snap-pop fitting. Be careful of the courtesy light. Remove the blower moter and disconnect the purple/black power connector to it - - you'll need this extra room to work with. 2 more screws, same size, 6.5mm on mine, 7or 8mm on some others, that holds the blower motor resistor in place. This replacement part is less than 40 bones at most parts store. Unplug, replace, re-install, test and you're on your way with about 2 hours of slow paced effort in your own driveway. Typical cost at a garage - up to $400, what a sham.

Yes its the blower motor resistor.
More then likley theres some trash or something in it, or possibly the motor itself is on it's way out. There not that bad to pull out of that body car, just pull it out and see what you can see.
The blower motor is under the glove compartment
You can replace the resistor on your own. Please find a detailed diagram which would guide you to do it.

It is on the passenger side, you have to remove the black plastic kick plate, below the glove box, to expose it (held in place with 2 latches and 1 push pin). The resistor is in front of the blower motor ( sandwiched between the motor housing and the firewall) it is tricky to get to, i think when i changed mine i didnt replace all the screws as they were difficult to remove and even harder to replace. You will have a blower motor resistor that controls power and the speeds to the blower motor it will be by the blower motor and is cheap new.
