You'll need a helper for this. Refill the reservoir.
**Keep the blazer in park with the E brake on.**
It might help if you raise the front end onto axle stands. Run the engine so the power steering is active. Get you helper to turn the steering from lock to lock, hard left to hard right and back again. Do this 2 or 3 times. While they do this have a look at all the pipe work you can see, WEAR SAFETY GOGGLES if your under the car. Working the steering will show where the system is leaking.

its way in the back below the alternator sometime you have to pull the engine forward to reach it but its there look down with a flashlight and you will see a black cap with orange writing on it that says "power Steering"

There is NO power steering fluid in a 06 Cobalt. It is electric! This is a flaw that GM is not willing to come to terms with. Try topix.com for the list of over 350 people that this has happened to. Also, the dealership wants YOU to pay for it. There should be a recall. VERY dangerous!
