My vehicle is a 2004 Chevy Aveo LS hatchback. My radio did same thing end of last year. Try these codes below and instructions. Mine was 2152.

1156, 1165, 1325, 2145, 2151, 2152,
2253, 2346, 2453, 2654, 3116, 3221,
3241, 3251, 3265, 3346, 3451, 3462,
4136, 4314, 4316, 4362, 4513, 4524,
4853, 5241, 5253, 5312, 5436, 5445,
5624, 5813, 6361, 6451, 6645, 8253

1. Turn the ignition to ACC or On Mode.
2. Turn the radio on look at disolay to see if AF or COdE appears on screen. If AF (go to step 3) and if COdE (go to step 4)
3.Enter AF Code (Usually Zipcode from dealership purchased from)by pushing the preset pushbuttons. COdE will then flash on the display.
4.Enter one of the codes from above if it flashes 3 times then it's the correct code if Err appears then with in a few sec's then it is incorrect move to next code.

****** Please Note ******

If incorrect AF code (Dealer Zipcode unless in Asia if in Asia push 5 and follow directions on screen) is entered an incorrect frequency level may be chosen and the radio reception may be affected if this occurs reset the audio system by removing and reinstalling the audio fuse then repeat steps 1 through 4. Hopefully this will work. Good Luck.

When you disconnect your battery or remove the fuse and then reconnect itagain, it disables the radio. This is an anti-theft protection for your carradio.
The enable your radio the activation code is in your vehicle owner's manual. Ifyou do not have this code you need to go to your vehicle manufacrurers service centre andget them to enter this code for you.

I replaced my ford Radio with another factory radio remaufactured. I plugged in the 2 plugs and the antennas, only the clock works. It will take CDs but won't play them, radio doesnt go to radio,

Modern automotive electronics are keyed to the VIN through the ECU to prevent theft, you must have the radio ID #, and key it into the radio with the number pads on the radio, only the dealership can retrieve the correct code for your vehicle. Probably not what you wanted to hear.

Don't know if yours is one but some 95 Honda civic have a antitheft program. If the battery ever goes dead or voltage is removed from it, it will not work until a program code is given to bring the radio back to life. you might want to try searching 95 Honda civic radio code.

It sounds like you blew fuses other than just the main fuse. Hooking the battery up wrong can destroy major components as well, like the starter, battery, Computer, moduals. You might need a good shop....

Blew a fuse that operates radio, clock and all the electronics adapters, need to know which fuse works these?

My access to Suzuki diagrams does not indicate the functions of the fuses, it only gives me what they look like. Best thing to do is to have a meter to test the fuses and relays and whichever one tests bad, take that to the auto parts store to match it up. Most auto parts store will order you the correct fuse/relay if they do not have it in stock.

My Radio and clock screen has went blank volume and controls do not work the clock does not work the radio plays and CD plays but screen is dead. 2001 525I BMW

it sounds like the Multi information display has failed (MID). It is the long display with all the radio controls on it. If you want to find a known good part they are really easy to swap out. Just remove the radio knob and if you look down in there, there is a place to put a T10 (i think maybe bigger or smaller) torx T10 screwdriver.if you turn it while pulling back slightly on the screwdriver it should come right out. It usually is the component that fails but as always you may want to check your fuses.
