Must plug in to assure starting below 55 degrees. Have had injectors checked, jumped to force grid heaters and they were 2,000 degrees. Cranks and runs fine if plugged in, but after driving to work and letting it sit 4 or 5 hours, it will not crank. Wait to start light stay on only about 10 seconds when really cold.

Did you check to see if there is power to the glow plugs if not then that may be the problem and if there is power when you cycle the key not to start but for the plugs to warm up you may have a bad glow plugs.

check fuel rail pressure with a gage from renting from auto shop shold hold 30 PSI for 60 seconds if not replace fuel pump.
